Description Todd 2015-03-10 21:46:51 UTC
Hi All,

I am coming from the Community: SL6.6, x64

There is a bad link in the Windows Version of the Spice Guest Tools:
    spice-guest-tools-0.74.exe

Which was obtained from http://www.spice-space.org/download.html

The short cut that is placed in "All Programs/spice-guest-tools" called "Uninstall SPICE Guest Tools" points to

    C:\Program Files\SPICE Guest Tools\Uninstall-spice-guest-tools.exe

Which does not exist.

The correct name is

    C:\Program Files\SPICE Guest Tools\Uninstall vert-view.exe

Would you please correct this?

Also, would you please place an uninstall entry in Add/Remove Programs

Many thanks,
-T

And after uninstall, you leave all your stuff in Program Files. While you are in fixing things, make sure you "actually" remove and remove your stuff from Program Files.

Sent an patch to the mailing list: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/spice-devel/2015-March/019117.html

spice-guest-tool is the available upstream only, there rhel product has no correlation with it.
Closing the bug, and recommend to report/raise this type of questions on spice devel list only.
