Description Thomas Woerner 2015-03-13 13:51:05 UTC
Description of problem:
There is no python3-gobject-base package that provides the non-cairo specific bits of the GObject Introspection library.

Because of this firewalld and also rolekit have to use python3-gobject in the Python 3 versions, which results in excessive dependencies in the minimal install and also fedora Server.

Please have a look at #855346. This is the old bug for the python2 version.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pygobject3-3.15.91-1.fc22

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install firewalld or rolekit versions using Python 3.

Actual results:
Cairo and GUI stuff in the minimal installation.

Please fix this also in Fedora-21.

Can we get someone to look at this ASAP? This is causing a lot of wasted space in Fedora Server.

Sorry for the delay. Should be fixed in http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/pygobject3.git/commit/?id=0c5769dd72ae55a83a66ffa9079f35eceea93c3a
