Description of problem:

panel Host->VMs is not updated after migration


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Ovirt 3.5.1


How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select host
2. open panel virtual machines (in the lower part)
3. select VM
4. choose migrate
5. move VM away from host
6. wait until migration finished

Actual results:

VM panel (in the lower part) still shows the migrated VM

Expected results:

VM should be removed from the panel (autorefresh)

I suppose after you click on refresh or select another subtab and back it shows the right data, right?

Seems a subtab refresh issue, moving to ux to see if it was perhaps broken by some recent optimizations

Refresh does not work. Whle the host overview panel whill be refreshed the VM subpanel does not react at all.

Switching subtabs will indeed refresh the VM list after one goes back to it.

thanks for confirmation, then this really indicates some problem with subtab refreshes on main tab changes

Whomever implemented the Host VM sub tab never activated the refresh timer and thus the view would never update unless refreshed by going to the different sub tab and coming back or switching host.

Posted a patch that solves the issue.

oVirt 3.6.0 has been released on November 4th, 2015 and should fix this issue.
If problems still persist, please open a new BZ and reference this one.
