Description of problem:
Attempting to xrdp into a machine hangs after successful authentication.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xrdp-0.6.1-7.fc21.x86_64


How reproducible:
1. start xrdp on server (service xrdp start)
2. connect from client (/usr/sbin/rdesktop -g 1280x1024 server.example.com)
3. enter valid username and password

Actual results:
Connection log displays the following:
  connecting to sesman ip 127.0.0.1 port 3350
  sesman connect ok
  sending login info to session manager, please wait...

... then just hangs there indefinitely

Expected results:
successful working remote desktop session

Any update on this? I have the same issue.

Can you try 

yum -y install @basic-desktop-environment
yum -y install tigervnc\*

I don't know why, but in F22 (which is what I've updated to) things seem to work. Once I apply the workaround from bug 1177202, I still get lots of apparent retries after entering my password into the rdesktop login window, but eventually I get a remote desktop session established.
