What kind of mouse does it show up as?

Comment 2 corne smiesing 2004-05-10 06:39:05 UTC
The mouse doesn't show up at all.
It also doesn't work for fedora core test3. I tested it 3 days ago.

Comment 3 corne smiesing 2004-05-10 06:40:30 UTC
The mouse doesn't show up during the start of the installation so
also the installation menu must be handled without the mouse

Comment 4 corne smiesing 2004-05-11 06:25:32 UTC
Correction at comment 3:
I think the installation detects a mouse but not that it is an
intellimouse. The systems 'thinks' it's a generic 3 button mouse.

Comment 5 Brent Fox 2004-06-24 16:41:07 UTC
Did you change the setting from generic 3 button mouse to
intellimouse? I have seen some other intellimice go bonkers if the
wrong mouse protocol is used. The problem is that only USB mice can
be accurately detected. Most PS/2 mice we have to make a guess at.

Try again but select "intellimouse" in the list and see if that
doesn't work. Please reopen this bug report if that doesn't fix the
problem.
