Patch to DTRT for both 2.4 and 2.6 kernels none

Description David Woodhouse 2004-04-14 18:18:44 UTC
For 2.6 kernels kernelName should be 'vmlinuz' not 'vmlinux'

Patch to DTRT for both 2.4 and 2.6 kernels

Comment 2 Jeremy Katz 2004-04-15 03:23:54 UTC
Did something along these lines for 3.5.21 (slightly different kernel
version test)

Comment 3 David Woodhouse 2004-04-15 12:45:24 UTC
Should it depend on ppc64-utils, even on ppc32?

Comment 4 Paul Nasrat 2004-04-15 12:57:31 UTC
There is a ppc-utils package I created that provides pmac-utils and
ppc64-utils. IIRC the actual require is for one of the pmac-utils
binaries for open firmware:

Comment 5 David Woodhouse 2004-04-15 13:28:01 UTC
Our ppc64-utils rpm contains pmac-utils and hence nvsetenv. But it's
not in the FC2 package list AFAICT.

Comment 6 Matthew Miller 2006-07-07 18:03:56 UTC
yeah, so, presumably there were no problems with the fix for this. marking resolved.
