horizon should be using rdo logo instead of openstack's
i believe someone did a mockup on the rdo forum some time back

you have a pointer to that? What makes you think, it should differ from upstream, since it's intended to be as near as possible to upstream?

no the rdo forums are gone. cant find them anymore. cant even find my name on the rdoproject site. all posts gone. maybe one of the rdo guys like rbowen has backups.

as to why change it. well.. rdo is a distribution, differentiate it from other distributions. cant recall the other pro arguments. just that a logo was made but never implemented

plus, it highlights to the end user that horizon can be customisable too

(ps. found an article you wrote about customising horizon that reminded me of this "issue" :) )

Icehouse is EOL.

RDO tries to be pure upstream, no additional patches are desired.
If you still think, this is a good idea, please bring it up to the mailing list, to hear others opinions.
