This bug looks like the same issue as I have seen with RHEL 7.1 and RH-Gluster Storage 3.0.4 - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1207060

Tested with the glusterfs client (glusterfs-3.6.0.54-1.el6rhs) with RHGS 3.0.4 Server ( glusterfs-3.6.0.53-1.el6rhs )

qemu-img doesn't seg-faults ( crashes )
