Like what's in dnf.log? To clarify, installation sources can be set up and modified many times over. It would help us (QA) tremendously if there was a single place somewhere in the logs where the *final* installation source configuration was printed out. That means after the user has hit Begin Installation and therefore it's clear it is not going to change. Ideally that printout would be machine parseable - we could use it in our anaconda tests to verify that the chosen installation source was really used, and not a different one. If I look into dnf.log, there's a lot of debug info, but it's hard to reliably determine which installation sources were truly used, what were their URLs, etc. Also, this output might easily change with every new dnf version. Could anaconda print this, so that we can depend on it and it doesn't change too often? Something like: > Installation Sources used: > repo fedora: https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=fedora-$releasever&arch=$basearch > repo updates: https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=updates-released-f$releasever&arch=$basearch or > Installation Sources used: > ISO: /dev/cdrom or > Installation Sources used: > repo custom: nfs:host:port/path/to/repo Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed. This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component. |
