Vulnerability in the MySQL Server component of Oracle MySQL (subcomponent: Server : InnoDB : DML). Supported versions that are affected are 5.5.41 and earlier and 5.6.22 and earlier. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows successful authenticated network attacks via multiple protocols. Successful attack of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server.

This issue was addressed in mysql-5.5 in Fedora 20 via the following security advisory:

This issue has been fixed in mariadb-10.0.17 as per the release notes at:
https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/mariadb-10017-release-notes/

Hence it does not affect the version of rh-mariadb100-mariadb package as shipped with Red Hat Software Collections 2.
