Description of problem:

click "show search options"
Choose either name, OSMajor, or OSMinor, then contains.. The input box will not accept any input unless it is in the form YYYY-MM-DD which makes the search function unusable. Other options appear not to be affected as they either present a selection box or a mini-calendar.

How reproducible:
always.. have tried FF 31.4 on RHEL 7 and 37.0.1 on F21

Expected results:
search accepts values relevant to what is being searched for.
