Description sanchez 2015-04-27 17:15:23 UTC
Description of problem:
As documented on the enigmail website[1], enigmail depends on a gui version of pinentry if used with gpg-agent otherwise it cannot access the keys to encrypt/sign/decrypt mails. This dependency should thus be exposed explicitly so that yum can install the corresponding packages or at least check, whether this dependency is met and advise the user.

I am aware, that different setups exist (e.g using gnome keyring etc) and it may be hard to find a solution which works properly with all setups. However these sort of hidden dependency lead to broken and unusable software, which is very frustrating.

This is similar to bug 1215188[2].
