Description Divya 2015-04-30 09:46:56 UTC
Features like erasure coding, rhel 7 and few more not supported with HDP. Information needs to be added on the same in the Admin Guide.

Also, may be documented in the Installation Guide.

Comment 2 Martin Bukatovic 2015-07-23 09:31:41 UTC
Stating that "Red Hat Storage Console and Nagios Monitoring" is not supported
with rhs-hadoop is not correct. Red Hat Gluster Storage Console with Nagios
from Gluster Storage is supported as a part of brownfield use case.

Confusion may come from the fact that Nagios from HDP (hadoop distribution)
is not supported in our case - and this fact is properly documented already.

So my suggestion is to remove line "Red Hat Storage Console and Nagios
Monitoring" from the box in both guides. Asking Erin to verify my conclusion
(to be sure I haven't missed some recent decision).

Comment 6 Martin Bukatovic 2015-07-28 07:36:21 UTC
"Red Hat Storage Console and Nagios Monitoring" is no longer included in both
boxes.

Since Erin hasn't communicated anything, I'm verifying it right now so that
it doesn't block the release.

This is not supported any longer, please close
