I opened up a bug at:

When I try to switch between Appplication Launcher and Application Menu Plasma crashes

Per upstream report, we'd need a backtrace.  without it, not much to go on.

Feel free to re-open or add to upstream report if you can get one (via drkonqi or abrt)
