Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

sounds more like a bug, re-classifying...

Per 6.3 planning, moving out non acked bugs to the backlog

Comment 6 Brad Buckingham 2016-08-24 11:56:02 UTC
In Satellite 6.2 the following behavior is observed (in the UI):

- Deleting a content view version:
  - User goes in to the Content View (e.g. Content -> Content Views -> [some view] -> Versions)
  - User clicks 'Remove' next to the version they want to remove
  - User is taken through a wizard to re-assign hosts, activation keys...etc.
  - On final step of the wizard, the user clicks 'Confirm Remove'
  - User is returned to the Versions list where they observe a progress bar indicating the deletion of the version.

- Deleting a content view:
  - User goes in to the Content View (e.g. Content -> Content Views -> [some view] -> Versions)
  - User clicks Remove View
  - User clicks Delete
  - User is returned to the Content Views list where the view no longer is listed

  - Note: on the second scenario, deleting a view requires that all versions are first deleted.

Based on the above, it appears that the request has been addressed; therefore, I am going to close it. If the above does not address the request, please re-open and provide additional details (description, screenshots or video).
