DRC for Gluster/NFS has been disabled by default for a long time already. This was done with http://review.gluster.org/8004 almost a year ago.

Any glusterfs-3.6 or glusterfs-3.7 release should have DRC disabled by default. Is this not the case?

Comment 6 Vivek Agarwal 2015-05-15 08:12:28 UTC
I thought it was enabled upstream by default and hence we need to disable it downstream now that we have rebased. If you confirm it is disabled upstream, I can just close this bug.

It was enabled by default in some very early versions, but current versions have it disabled. There are still issues that make DRC not very stable. We need to do some (time consuming?) analysis and bugfixes before we can enable it by default again.
