this is done on purpose; the management of that link was really messy. In addition you can't use the files in /usr/src/kernel-2.6.anything for buildling modules against (just as you really shouldn't in 2.4 but it worked there by accident). Well, is this bug/feature? And why in /usr/include/linux obsolete header stored? even in 2.2 and 2.4 modules HAVE to build against /lib/modules/`uname -r `/build/include just it happens to be that that is a symlink into /usr/src in those older kernel rpms. OK, I see, it's my misundrestanding, sorry for annoying you :-). Have a nice day. |
