Description of problem: 
When trying to swich my standard desktop into KDE, i seach for the 
"swichdesk" icon in the "start-menu" of KDE (having manually selected 
my session). But it isn't there! 
 
from the comandline, i get this: 
[kyrre@localhost kyrre]$ switchdesk 
Red Hat Linux switchdesk 4.0

It seems that switchdesk-gui is not installed on your machine.

If you want to have GUI switchdesk you have to install switchdesk-gui
subpackage. But the commandline switchdesk should allow you to switch
desktop too.

just Type: switchdesk KDE. For more info please take a look  
in man page

I understand that. But people that are completly new to linux and does
not know what a "command prompt" is, just that it is some mysterius
thing that looks a bit like DOS, won't...
