Description Corey T 2004-05-02 13:46:30 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)

Description of problem:
switchdesk-gui does not install under custom/default installations of
FC2T3. This is needed for users to easily switch from gnome to kde
or other available desktops in X.

This needs to be fixed before official release or added to the eratta
that users will be required to edit their rc.local? file to load a
different WM at launch of X.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
switchdesk-gui

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Either with custom or default settings.
2. Under the menu no choice is in any submenu for switchdesk or as
it's called "Desktop switching tool"
3. open root terminal and type switchdesk and it tells you it's not
installed.

You don't really need switchdesk-gui to switch your desktop. The
commandline switchdesk allows you to do that too. Just type:

  switchdesk KDE

it will switch your current desktop to KDE. For more info, please take
a look in man page 'man switchdesk'.
