This is not a bug. It was my mistake. The bug does still exist in Fedora Core 1 though. See bug 122219. Even though there is one menu entry for the VX900 (actually there is also a VX900T) the system still doesn't handle it correctly in later stages. By default the system wants to install at 640x480 resolution with 800x600 as the only other choice. xorg.conf has these two resolutions and 1024x768 as choices. I have to uncomment the HorizSync and VertRefresh lines in xorg.conf and reboot and things work normally after that. |
