Description Rejy M Cyriac 2015-05-25 06:38:16 UTC
Description of problem:
/etc/redhat-storage-release needs update to provide identity for RHGS Server 3.1.0

Comment 1 Prasanth 2015-06-17 08:07:10 UTC
Rejy,

/etc/redhat-storage-release now provides the following:

####
[root@ ~]# cat /etc/redhat-storage-release
Red Hat Gluster Storage Server 3.1

[root@ ~]# rpm -qa |grep redhat-storage-server
redhat-storage-server-3.1.0.0-2.el6rhs.noarch
####

Is that the expected output? Or is it "Red Hat Gluster Storage Server 3.1.0"?

Please confirm.

'Red Hat Gluster Storage Server 3.1' should be fine, as I believe that is the convention used for RHEL releases as well.

Moreover, we will not be using 'Red Hat Gluster Storage Server 3.1.1' in the Z-stream releases of RHGS 3.1. We will rather be using 'Red Hat Gluster Storage Server 3.1 Update 1'
