Description Brian Wheeler 2015-05-27 19:46:52 UTC
Description of problem:

Sometimes when trying to save a file I get the message "Opening output file: resource temporarily unavailable". When I save it again, it saves just fine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

emacs-filesystem-24.3-11.el7.noarch
emacs-common-24.3-11.el7.x86_64
emacs-24.3-11.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:

Often, but not every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a file
2. make changes
3. try to save it and get the error message
4. save it again to really save changes

I've upped this to high because it is causing problems with my users -- they're saving scripts to test them and the changes aren't always saved so they end up running the pre-modification code again.

PING? This is getting really annoying.

Comment 4 Jan Synacek 2016-05-24 08:22:12 UTC
There seems to be something wrong with the system, not emacs itself. I can't do anything with the information provided.
