Description Thom Carlin 2015-05-29 16:20:20 UTC
Description of enhancement:

CFME errors on malformed or orphaned objects. For an administrator, it would be useful to identify/resolve these objects in an enterprise.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

5.5

Additional info:

Initial architecture:
A) In fleecing, identify problem VMs. We've identified several cases:
   i) VM has no storage
ii) In provider, VM appears to be missing some metadata
iii) VM appears on storage but not in provider
B) Mark/tag problem VMs
C) Create reports to identify each case to identify issues/potential savings

I'm not sure fleecing is the proper component for this. While these issues have impact on fleecing, the detection and flagging of these issues would need to be performed during inventory collection. I'm not sure, but this could fall under either "insight" or "providers" components.
