Description RamaKasturi 2015-06-04 12:09:02 UTC
Description of problem:
As of now when ever user creates a brick from UI an event message is displayed which says "Brick <brick name> created successfully". But from this message user cannot really make out on which host the brick was created. same case with create brick failure too.

It would be good to add the server name in the event message which says that "Brick <brick name> created successfully on <host>"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhsc-3.1.0-0.58.master.el6.noarch

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add storage devices to the host
2. click on sync
3. Try creating a brick from UI.

Actual results:
Once the brick is created from UI, an event message is displayed in the ui which says "Brick <brick name> created successfully".

Expected results:
Add the host name in the event message.

Moving back to MODIFIED as the build is not ready but errata has moved the bugs to ON_QA.

Comment 5 RamaKasturi 2015-06-17 09:53:09 UTC
Verified and works fine with build rhsc-3.1.0-0.60.el6.noarch.

When a brick gets created sucessfully in the UI message below gets displayed in the UI.

"Brick <brickName> created sucessfully on host <hostname> of cluster <clustername>"

When brick fails to create below message is displayed in the UI.

"Failed to create brick <brickName> on host <hostname> of cluster <cluster_name>"
