In the past hwloc-gui package did not include a desktop entry for the lstopo application so it was not possible to start the application from the desktop menu. Changes to the hwloc package have been made and now the .desktop file is included and lstopo appears in the desktop launcher menus.

Setting QA ack, for what it's worth the F22 version (hwloc-gui-1.10.1-2.fc22.x86_64) has a desktop entry at least in KDE. Confirmed .desktop file is included and lstopo is showing up in the desktop launcher menus. [root@dhcp6-33 log]# rpm -ql hwloc-gui /usr/bin/lstopo /usr/share/applications/lstopo.desktop /usr/share/man/man1/lstopo.1.gz [root@dhcp6-33 log]# rpm -q hwloc-gui hwloc-gui-1.7-5.el7.x86_64 Dear Don, I am documenting this BZ for an upcoming errata. Please go over the text I have included and let me know if it is OK. If you feel that it should not be documented please let me know. Thanks Laura Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
