(In reply to Todd from comment #0) > Currently, if you cut a Live USB and use persistence (--overlay-size-mb > and/or --home-size-mb), the ability to install locally is removed. This is not true. From Fedora-Live-Xfce-x86_64-21-5.iso installed with --overlay-size-mb 6624 ls -lA /usr/share/applications/liveinst.desktop -rw-r--r--. 1 root root 10590 Jun 10 17:05 /usr/share/applications/liveinst.desktop The Install to Hard Drive application icon is in the System menu and on the Desktop. What revision of livecd-tools are you using? The presence of liveinst and liveinst.desktop depend on the iso being used, not livecd-iso-to-disk. Depending on the desktop being used you may have to open a terminal and run liveinst. (In reply to Todd from comment #2) > What revision of livecd-tools are you using? See Bug #1105735. That bug gave me a revision of a program I never have heard of. I was looking for rpm -qa livecd-tools |
