Description of problem:

After removing any wireless card settings from the network config and
removing the ifcfg-eth1 file from the network-scripts directory, I
rebooted the machine and then manually started yenta_socket using
modprobe.

This worked fine and then it recognized my aironet card finally with
the acu utility run in superuser mode my card finally got cracking and
I was able to connect to the net. However, i get the following
messages filling up my syslog one set per second all the connection to
the internet seems to work fine.

How is FC4 doing about this?

Comment 2 John Thacker 2006-10-29 22:03:17 UTC
Closing per lack of response to previous request for information. Note that FC3
and FC4 are supported by Fedora Legacy for security fixes only. Please install
a still supported version and retest. If it still occurs on FC5 or FC6,
please reopen and assign to the correct version. Otherwise, if this a security
issue, please change the product to Fedora Legacy. Thanks, and we are sorry
that we did not get to this bug earlier.
