Description David O'Brien 2015-06-17 03:20:54 UTC
Description of problem:

For beta documentation the only available watermark (afaik) is "DRAFT" and it's only available in English. I've been asked about using a "BETA" watermark and also about watermarks in other languages. Currently all translated documents carry an English "DRAFT" watermark.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
version=v4.2.6

How reproducible:

Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the following in <book-name>.xml

<book status="draft">

2. build the book.

Actual results:

Watermark is English in all langs

Expected results:

Suitable image options (DRAFT, BETA) for all langs

Moving this over to the publican component, as the watermark originates from there.

Jeff any idea where the source for the draft image is?

Comment 2 Jeff Fearn 🐞 2015-06-17 03:50:05 UTC
./datadir/Common_Content/common/en-US/images/watermark-draft.png
./datadir/Common_Content/common-db5/en-US/images/watermark-draft.png

In each of those brands adding an image of the same name to $lang/images/ will do the job.

Comment 3 Jeff Fearn 🐞 2015-06-17 03:54:13 UTC
P.S. supporting other watermarks involves:

1: add image file as per watermark-draft.png
2: add css to common.css as per .draft in that file
3: set status to match in book

Comment 4 Lee Newson 2015-06-17 03:59:39 UTC
Sigh, I was hoping for something where the text was editable. Since there appears to be nothing available we'll have to get someone to manually create each one :(

Comment 5 Jeff Fearn 🐞 2015-06-17 22:14:03 UTC
Hey Ryan, do you have the SVG for the watermark-draft image you made us?

Comment 6 David O'Brien 2015-12-17 12:39:16 UTC
Any update on this?

Comment 8 David O'Brien 2019-12-10 05:05:56 UTC
This is pretty old and I'm guessing nobody cares enough to address it. My group no longer uses "draft" on any books.
