Description Yurii Prokulevych 2015-06-18 12:02:01 UTC
Description of problem:
When MongoDB instance at Y.Y.Y.Y host becomes unavailable and a try to restart openstack-ceilometer-api.service is given,
openstack-ceilometer-api.service fails to restart.

The bug was fixed upstream.

Comment 2 Chris Dent 2015-06-24 14:16:36 UTC
We decided this is not a blocker for immediate release because the workaround is straightforward: start the event database.

So I'm going to target this on A1

Comment 3 Chris Dent 2015-06-26 12:05:13 UTC
The associated upstream gerrit is the wrong one, removing.

Comment 4 Chris Dent 2015-06-26 12:07:07 UTC
Adding the correct upstream gerrit. An upstream backport will be required.

Comment 5 Chris Dent 2015-06-26 13:25:31 UTC
Adding the kilo upstream gerrit.

Comment 6 Chris Dent 2015-06-29 12:26:19 UTC
Upstream backport commit (for cherry-pick) is 6ea8dd113a3fe1f19b792a9012c17a3386893361

Comment 11 Lon Hohberger 2016-01-26 16:03:30 UTC
This was resolved by openstack-ceilometer-2015.1.2-1.el7ost, available from the OpenStack 7 repository.
