Description Chris MacLeod 2004-05-17 16:15:48 UTC
Description of problem:

I have an AS3 box that also has a sources file that describes a yum
repo for additional packages. If I schedule a profile sync that
included additing additional packages from another channel (not the
yum repo) rhn_check hangs when trying to complete the scheduled action.

Removing the yum repo from the sources file eliminates the problem.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

up2date-4.2.14-1

How reproducible:

everytime

Steps to Reproduce:
1. build an box subscribe to some channels
2. add a yum repo to the sources file
3. schedule an action to sync profiles with another box that involves
adding additional packages

Actual results:

rhn_check hangs

Expected results:

packages should be installed (it's fine if the yum repo is ignored)

For bugs against released products, please file against the
approriate release and component for the dist. Aka, this
bug would be against the up2date component of RHEL3.
