I also lost my USB devices with 2.4.22-1.2188.npt1, Lexmark Z-25 and Palm Pilot. Rebooting to 2179 kernel brings them back. Output of grep usb /var/log/messages is available at http://www.rerowe.com/usbfedora.txt where the head of the log is 2188.npt1 and the bottom of the log (devices working) is after a reboot to 2179. Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/ |
