Use the following template to for the 'fedpkg update' request to submit an update for this issue as it contains the top-level parent bug(s) as well as this tracking bug. This will ensure that all associated bugs get updated when new packages are pushed to stable. ===== # bugfix, security, enhancement, newpackage (required) type=security # testing, stable request=testing # Bug numbers: 1234,9876 bugs=1236010,1236012 # Description of your update notes=Security fix for CVE-2015-5069, CVE-2015-5070 # Enable request automation based on the stable/unstable karma thresholds autokarma=True stable_karma=3 unstable_karma=-3 # Automatically close bugs when this marked as stable close_bugs=True # Suggest that users restart after update suggest_reboot=False ====== Additionally, you may opt to use the bodhi update submission link instead: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/new/?type_=security&bugs=1236010,1236012 On March 31, 2017, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 will move out of "Production Phase 3". At this point various rebuilds will be ending support for EL-5 and EPEL will be archiving EPEL-5. What this means is the following: 1. EPEL-5 (/pub/epel/5/, /pub/epel/testing/5/) will be copied to /pub/archive/epel/5. 2. Mirrors that mirror archives will pick up EPEL-5 in it new location. 3. Mirrormanager will point to those location as the canonical places. 4. Koji will be set to no compose for EPEL-5. This effectively stops builds from getting 'pushed' to the trees. 5. The data in /pub/epel/5 and /pub/epel/testing/5/ will be removed and will disappear from mirrors. Because 2017-03-31 is a Friday, these changes will occur during the next week. |
