Description kkammer 2015-06-29 19:38:03 UTC
Created attachment 1044442 [details]
Screenshot of applet window.

Description of problem: I launched the Weather applet to take a quick look at the forecast, and for "This afternoon" it shows 68 degrees F, and a snowflake (see attachment). Snow in late June; how refreshing. This would probably not be worth filing a bug report, except it was so amusing I had to share it with someone.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.8.2

How reproducible: Unsure; it probably varies with the forecast.

Actual results: Displays a "Snow" icon for a summer weather report.

Expected results: Anything other than snow at 68F.

Comment 2 Zeeshan Ali 2015-07-06 16:56:24 UTC
3.8 was preview version of Weather app so its understandable that such silly issues were present in the app. Pretty sure this (along with many similar issues) have been already fixed in later version.

Comment 3 kkammer 2015-07-06 17:07:33 UTC
Fair enough; though, doesn't Red Hat generally backport bug fixes when available?

Incidentally, the snow forecast turned up yet again, the following day.
