The reproducer is as easy as:

# ccs --createcluster UNRESOLVABLE-ADDRESS

or localhost + permissions variants

# service ricci start
# chmod go-w /tmp
# ccs --createcluster localhost

We're only fixing critical issues with ccs in the future, if this becomes a common serious issue, we will look at fixing it, but for now we don't plan on fixing.
