Mark, you know this code best - please reassign back to me if time/other constraints get in the way of fixing it for 7.3 - cheers. This is actually not limited to pmiostat only but happens with any Python client. This is fixed upstream now (commit 40141eeec6) - resulted from a poor interaction between signal handling in the python interpreter and a libpcp nanosleep call. Verified for build pcp-3.11.3-3.el7. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
