How reproducible:
- 100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. attempt to change KDE wallpaper
2. Will require relog to take affect
3.

Actual results:
- wallpaper change does not immediately take affect

Expected results:
- wallpaper change takes affect immediately

Additional info:
- has been reproduced in 3 environments. does not require multiple displays to reproduce.

The sosreport command is a tool that collects information about a Red Hat Enterprise Linux system, such as what kernel is running, what drivers are loaded, and various configuration files for common services. It also does some simple diagnostics against known problematic patterns.

The following has also been reported:

User changed one monitor (display) wallpaper type setting to slideshow, applied, but nothing effect. User logout and login, both display showing the slideshow wallpaper, but only show the first picture. Never roll or show to other pictures. User logout and login again. The wallpaper shows the second picture and just stay. The slideshow will not slide.

The function works in RHEL 6.4. We updated our workstations to RHEL 6.6 and the wallpaper not working.

I tried to install a fresh RHEL 6.6 workstation instead of upgrade. The new install RHEL 6.6 has the same problem in wallpaper.
