Description of problem:  While running the functional tests on gluster v 3.5.4 and 3.7.2, test_setxattr and test_fsetxattr fail.


Steps to Reproduce:

tox -e functest

Actual results:

AssertionError: OSError not raised


Expected results:

It should pass the test

Alex, I'm moving this to the 'mainline' version. If you need this also for 3.7 and earlier, please use the "clone this bug" link in the upper right corner.
