In the previous version of CloudForms Management Engine, provisioning a virtual machine from a template on Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2012 SP1 would fail as the SCVMM virtual machine manager module was not loaded in the cloning script. This bug was fixed by ensuring that the virtual machine manager module was loaded for SCVMM 2012 environments. Provisioning virtual machine clones in SCVMM environments works as expected in the new version of CloudForms Management Engine.

(In reply to Shveta from comment #4) > SCVMM provisioning from template works in 5.4.1.0.20150717083323_6ed7e1c > Is that good enough to verify ? If provisioning has been verified separately on SCVMM SP1 and R2 environments, then yes. Milan and Nick, can the two of you work together to figure out why the fix worked at the customer site, but not in QE? I wonder if there are environmental differences we need to account for. But I don't think that Engineering can track this down alone. Sounds good to me. I have SCVMM 2012 SP1 and R2 instances fully functional. I'll start taking the SCVMM issues. Verified on new SCVMM SP1 instance at 10.16.6.151 using CFME 5.4.2 instance at 10.8.59.82. Working as expected. No errors reported in logs.
