Description of problem:
Per the Python Packaging guidelines [1], python-mimeparse should provide python2-mimeparse.

Actual results:
python-mimeparse does not provide python2-mimeparse

Expected results:
python-mimeparse should provide python2-mimeparse

Please fix this in EPEL7 as well as Fedora.

I maintain this package only in Fedora. Please open bugreport against EPEL7 to have it fixed in EPEL...

I can see that this was addressed with this line.

Can this line be tweaked to match the version-release of the package?

> Provides:       python2-mimeparse = %{version}-%{release}
