Thanks for the report. Have you seen any error message? How long have you been waiting till you hit ctrl+c? Can you reproduce it and attach the stdout + stderr so we can know in which phase DNF paused and what was the last processing package? I did not seen any error because dnf upgrade was launched in minimized terminal window and my notebook freezed. But it does not matter why transaction has been aborted - software or hardware error, power failure, etc. The problem is that I can not complete the interrupted transaction. With yum I can run yum-complete-transaction, but it looks like such tool is absent in dnf. Also there was a kernel panic with new kernel 4.0.7 (unable mount root) after reboot. Then I booted system with 4.0.6 kernel, ran "dnf reinstall kernel-4.0.7 kernel-core-4.0.7" and 4.0.7 works now. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1091702 *** The needinfo request[s] on this closed bug have been removed as they have been unresolved for 1000 days |
