Description Nick Coghlan 2015-08-06 11:42:16 UTC
Fedora are currently working through various issues ensuring the entire stack works reliably in IPv6-only and dual-stack IPv4+IPv6 scenarios:

* https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/IPv6#Packages
* https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/IPv6/How_to_test

However, there's isn't currently any discussion or consideration of how such testing may be automated in an appropriately configured integration testing environment.

I'd like to explain how Beaker can help with this testing, but at the moment, the best description of the dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 testing capability I can find is that implied by FreeIPA's IPv6SETUP flag in their integration testing: http://www.freeipa.org/page/V3/Integration_testing

I've marked this as a docs-only issue, but resolving it fully may involve creating some additional issues to provide some of the relevant network stack configuration tasks in the upstream task libary.
