Description of problem:
RHEL7.2 host is not able to added to engine due to management network setup failures.

vdsm-4.16.24-2.el7ev.x86_64
initscripts-9.49.24-1.el7.x86_64
rhevm3.5.0-0.31.el6ev OR rhevm-3.6.0-0.10.master.el6

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Prepare a RHEL7.2 host with following os tree, download initscripts to a nice version vdsm-4.16.24-2.el7ev.x86_64 due to bz 1245567
http://download.englab.nay.redhat.com/pub/rhel/rel-eng/RHEL-7.2-20150806.1/compose/Server/x86_64/os/

2. Add the host to rhevm3.5 via portal

3. Add the host to rhevm3.6 via portal

Actual results:
step 2: failed to add host to rhevm due to network setup failure
step 3: failed to add host to rhevm due to network setup failure

Updated the RHEV version as following
rhevm-3.5.4-1.2.el6ev.noarch
rhevm-3.6.0-0.10.master.el6

Still unable to add RHEL7.2 host to rhevm-3.5.4-1.2.el6ev using fixed initscripts-9.49.27-1.el7. So I think the bug is not the same issue with bug 1245567. Detailed logs see comment #8. I will re-open it. If I'm wrong, correct me.

Please ignore comment #8 and comment #9. Changed a RHEL7.2 host, I am able to add it to RHEV3.5.4.

Hi Haoxing,

Is the initscripts-9.49.27-1.el7 version added in RHEL7.2 SS3 kernel or not.

If not please provide the patch of that initscript as WA.
