Aziza, could you investigate how ec2 is handled? Thanks For ec2, it is determined by the Flavors. While provisioning an ec2 instance we need to select proper instance type base on what quota are you testing. Currently, ec2 quota is broken and have logged https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1254882 to track this issue. Pete, I may need you to fill in some of the details here. But my understanding is that you're saying that the CFME quota calculations are based on pre-provisioning data about the image. However, we don't have disk allocation data about pre-provisioned images for OpenStack (or EC2, for that matter). So, quota calculations actually have to be done post-provisioning for instances provisioned from cloud-based images. Does that sum up what's going on here? Or, did I get this completely wrong? Pete, is this a duplicate of bug 1254882? The summary seems to indicate that. Yes pretty much GregM, let me know if this ends up being an inventory issue. But, I believe we have all the data we can collect here. We just need to figure out how to do quota calculations based on provisioning for OSP providers. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1254882 *** |
