Description of problem:
After launching hwbrowser the mouse freezes and, judging by the CPU
usage, hwbrowser stops doing anything. The keyboard still responds so
I can close it by navigating to the Cancel button. When I try to log
out or restart the system, Gnome seems to close but then X just
freezes. CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work and I have to resort to hitting the
reset button.

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run hwbrowser

Actual Results:  Mouse freezes and hwbrowser stalls.

Expected Results:  hwbrowser runs.

If your machine is locking up, that's a kernel issue.

The system only freezes when I try to shutdown X.

Fedora Core 2 has now reached end of life, and no further updates will be
provided by Red Hat.  The Fedora legacy project will be producing further kernel
updates for security problems only.

If this bug has not been fixed in the latest Fedora Core 2 update kernel, please
try to reproduce it under Fedora Core 3, and reopen if necessary, changing the
product version accordingly.
