Description Viktor Jancik 2015-08-19 02:47:06 UTC
Description of problem:
Why is the latest version of npm in Fedora 1.3.6? That version is from Jul 27, 2013.
https://github.com/npm/npm/releases/tag/v1.3.6

The latest version is:
https://github.com/npm/npm/releases/tag/v2.13.5

Is there a reason for this?

Comment 1 Stephen Gallagher 2016-01-15 18:25:41 UTC
We're working on a big upgrade to Node.js 4.x (LTS) and the corresponding updated npm packages. It's targeted for Fedora 24 Alpha.

Comment 2 Stephen Gallagher 2016-01-19 19:22:36 UTC
The packages are being merged into Rawhide shortly and should filter out to the mirrors by the end of the week.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 24 development cycle.
Changing version to '24'.
