Description Ranjith Pulluru 2015-08-28 08:31:59 UTC
Description of problem:
=======================
 - Edit button is missing in the "Management Model View"(admin-console) /subsysem=logging/root-logger=ROOT

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
==============================================================
 - JBoss EAP 6.4.3

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
===================
1) Start the JBoss EAP 6.4.3 server
2) Open the JBoss admin console.
3) click on tools which present in the right side of the footer.
4) select the "Management Model"
5) Navigate to 	subsystem => logging => root-logger => ROOT
6) Click on the tab "Data"

After clicking the tab "Data" You can see the information of the root logger but the EDIT button is missing in this tab.

I can see the EDIT button in all others like logger,pattern-formatter,etc.,

Actual results:
===============
- EDIT button is missing in the "Data" tab (Management Model View) of root logger.

Expected results:
=================
- EDIT button should exit in the "Data" tab (Management Model View) of root logger.

Additional info:
=================
- I can see this issues in JBoss EAP 6.4.x versions.
  Screen-shot attached to the BZ.

All the root logger attributes can be configured through Profiles > Subsystems > Logging.

Comment 10 baranowb 2015-09-04 10:41:55 UTC
well, this rise a question about consistency - why cant it be configured like other entries in model tree?
