Description Rex Dieter 2015-09-02 15:58:19 UTC
Just updated to plasma-5.4 on f22, and plasma-pa got pulled in as a hard dependency. I'd argue it should not be enabled by default (at least on f22).

1. I have 2 volume controls now, kmix and plasma-pa
2. they seem to fight over handling volume up/down/mute keys

plasma-pa seems lacks some features that kmix had:
* showing application volumes in applet (they are visible going deeper into Audio Volume Settings)
* no control for events
* no volume feedback

+1, the Requires needs to go away!
