Still there in beta2. I also noticed that when I press ctrl-alt-f1 it on the monitor selection screen , it doesn't work at first. The second press gives a screen with blue stripes. Please verify in test lab. This defect is considered MUST-FIX for Winston Beta-5 Does this defect still exist with (on) Winston beta-4? Is this a problem in beta 5? Yes it is ( a problem in beta 5 ). Sounds like a kudzu issue. Can someone verify this in the test lab? There in RC1 too Can someone *please* verify this on a machine here? Without that, we really have no chance of fixing it. *** Bug 16371 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 15242 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 24955 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I've gotten reports that XFree86 4.0.2 fixes this after release 9 or so. Please try out XFree86 4.0.3-1 and Mesa 3.4-13 from: ftp://people.redhat.com/mharris It should solve this problem for you. Does it? The DDC probe isn't even by default in kudzu anymore (it is called by Xconfigurator, though.) Closing out bugs on older, no longer supported releases. Apologies for any lack of response. Please attempt to confirm with more recent releases. |
