Description Orion Poplawski 2015-09-11 19:42:22 UTC
Description of problem:

With LO 4.3, the default mode of rescaling images changed to preserving the aspect ratio, but you are supposed to be able to change it if you hold down Shift. This appears to be broken in the Fedora 21 packages - at least on two of our users KDE desktops.

I installed LO 5.0.1 from upstream rpms and with that I can change the aspect ratio with shift as expected.

Also appears to work on F22 with libreoffice-impress-4.4.5.2-5.fc22.x86_64.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libreoffice-impress-4.3.7.2-11.fc21.x86_64
libreoffice-impress-4.3.7.2-9.fc21.x86_64
libreoffice-impress-4.3.2.2-5.fc21.x86_64

Shouldn't be anything different from the fedora 21 rpms vs the upstream version wrt mouse+keyboard handling. IIRC in 4.3 while the resize behaviour was changed for writer (and maybe calc) it was still at free resizing in impress and it wasn't until 4.4 that impress was realigned with writer for the new behaviour.

Anyway, if it works as expected in f22 that'll have to do.
