Upstream Release Monitoring
2015-09-21 12:15:32 UTC
Failed to kick off scratch build. cmd: sha256sum /var/tmp/thn-sHULff/100.0% return code: 1 stdout: stderr: sha256sum: /var/tmp/thn-sHULff/100.0%: No such file or directory Latest upstream release: 4.7 Current version/release in rawhide: 4.1-2.fc24 URL: http://kernel.org/pub/software/network/iw/ Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. Based on the information from anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/1410/ Patching or scratch build for iw-4.1 failed. Created attachment 1163408 [details] Rebase-helper rebase-helper-debug.log log file. See for details and report the eventual error to rebase-helper https://github.com/phracek/rebase-helper/issues. Patches were not touched. All were applied properly I would suggest that the URL as shown by dnf info be updated. Currently it is: http://www.linuxwireless.org/en/users/Documentation/iw/ Instead it should be: https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/documentation/iw Latest upstream release: 4.9 Current version/release in rawhide: 4.1-2.fc24 URL: http://kernel.org/pub/software/network/iw/ Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. All were applied properly (In reply to Upstream Release Monitoring from comment #7) > Latest upstream release: 4.9 > Current version/release in rawhide: 4.1-2.fc24 > URL: http://kernel.org/pub/software/network/iw/ ping! Ping again. Any reason why iw is so old in Fedora? If no one objects I'll push 4.9 into Rawhide. I updated for myself the Fedora 24 package with version 4.9 and it worked fine in my limited tests.
